Ghost radar

I have added a moderator only forum to the website so moderators that have any questions about what they should or should not do about something or If they need to report a member for breaking the site rules can do it in private.

Not a really big update but this site is growing and more and more people are joining so some sort of group dedicated to keeping this site safe must be put in place.

 Congratz thelivingdead and spudpickles, the two of you are now new site moderators.

 Also. We have reached 50 MEMBERS! I never thought this site would evan grow past five people and now look. It's all thanks to you guys and to all the people you have invited and all the people they invited!

The maker of ghost radar is now a member! " Spud pickles." Just wanted to say that because someone could just make a fake account so I wanted to say he is the real guy. By the way, They are giving out ghost radar for free next week so make sure to tell your friends!

And think of it this way, the more people that have ghost radar, the more people can join in on the fun!

* UPDATE FEBRUARY 28, 2010 * Just a reminder that accounts inactive will be deleted! Also I am giving a shoutout to andynroid. Members like him is what this site needs if we are to stay active and not join the thousands and thousands of other sites that have been put in to the trash.

 The community ghost hunt did not really go well. At the times when I logged on, which was every 15-20 minutes, Nobody was on. For you guys that were online I hope you had fun. The next community event will be sometime in march. 

* UPDATE FEBRUARY 23, 2010 * A simple set of rules will be put into effect starting today. These rules will not only keep the website going smooth but also keep it safe for new and current members alike. Also I would like to start a community event this saturday! * 2/27/2010 *

What is it you might ask? Well Sense this website now has an instant messageing software it is now possible to do this....LIVE GHOST HUNT! The ghost hunt will start at 8PM and end at 12PM central time. I am sorry for the users that do not live in the united states because it will already be daylight for you so the experince might be ruined.

So be sure to have your batteries charged and phones on silent so if someone calls you it will not scare off the ghosts!

* UPDATE, FEBRUARY 19, 2010 * I have just added a Chat system for the website so start adding friends so you guys can all talk without having to post in the forums!

 Also, this website is starting to get a lot more traffic then I thought it would get. At this rate we will be running out of memory real fast. Now this site was supposed to be a free service and it will continue to be but I am adding a donation system. Basicly if we get around $8 dollars a month the website can go pro!

What does that mean? Well it means no more ads, the website will appear as http://www.ghostradar.com/, TONS more memory so every user can upload several videos at any given time, and have enough space for new members for the next year or so. DONATING IS COMPLETELY OPITIONAL AND NO ONE IS REQUIRED TO DO IT.

* UPDATE, FEBRUARY 16, 2010 * Congratz jacartho! You are the very first site moderator! And I am making changes to the account system for everyone. If your account has been inactive for a total of 60 days you will be listed as a limited member. If your account is inactive for 90 or more days you will be given an email saying if you wish to continue useing the website features you should log in. After 100 days of inactivity your account will be deleted.

For you guys that visit the site at least once a week you do not need to worry at all. And if you do manage to not visit in 60 days and become a limited member all you have to do is log back in and your old member status will return. Happy ghost hunting!

* UPDATE FEBRUARY 2, 2010 * The poll is now here guys. To find the poll go to " discussion forum " then go to the " ghost radar " section and look until you find " ghost radar polls ". 

I will be holding a poll starting febuary 7th-21st to see how the first users of the VERY FIRST ghost radar website think it is. It will be held on the forums and what I want you guys to do is give an honest opinion to see what needs to be added, whats needs improved, and what just plain out sucks.

Only registered members are allowed to vote and at the end of the competition I will also be decideing who the very first moderator of the site shall be.
